What do you do when one of the most talented American painters daughter gets married...and gets married to ANOTHER amazing artist. My I introduce to you Karen Silverman and J.T Yost. Memorize their names because they are both so talented I am sure fame will be in their lives very soon. Karen is a jewelry maker ( some clients are Gwen Stefani & Drew Barrymore) and J.T. is an illustrator who is also in one of the most mesmerizing vampire bands of modern day.

He proposed to her by building a life-size fortune teller booth( yes just like in the movie, BIG). Set up in an alley way in the east village, Karen's friend told her to go on a location scout assignment and then convinced her to stick her hand in this crazy fortune-telling box..where-upon a ring got stuck on her finger.

After hearing this I KNEW I had to shoot their wedding. I cant even get into the insane amount of kitschy decor, the outfit changes, the live bands ( Van Heusen, the ultimate van halen cover band) and the all vegan food ( who knew??- it was all so good!).
